South Bank Seduction cover

Yay, it’s here! South Bank Seduction, An anthology of erotica from the banks of the Thames has been published on Kindle. Edited by Ruby Kiddell – who managed to edit this while also finding time to organise not one but two Eroticons in 2013 (while preparing for Eroticon 2014). Which is pretty awesome.

Sharing the pages with a bunch of great stories is my own Pulse and Flow, an m/m erotic romance set partly on top of the South Bank Centre. You can read an extract here on my site.

The great news? South Bank Seduction is FREE on Kindle until this Sunday (16 March 2014). So use one of these handy links to pick up a copy. 🙂

Eroticon 2012 – Part 2 – Identity, Anonymity, Sex, Writing

So I head up the stairs, into the reception. Gotta say, Armada House was a perfect location. Edwardian building but purposely designed as a conference venue, and it shows. Having done events back home and here where you have to adapt a venue to your needs, be it an anime festival, a speaker session with lunch, or a dance, being somewhere catered to the needs was really good. Spacious so we could move about freely, but not cavernous that you got lost, with beautiful interiors (seriously, look at the lobby in this link here – I love the carving of the torso and arm holding a rapier on the wall by the staircase).

But I digress. Picked up name tag and goody bag, and what a lovely swag it was too – three paperbacks, discount vouchers, and some nice toys from sponsors Love Honey by way of a little vibrator and a satin blindfold, and a delightful little book of sex tips – that came in a satin bag and I have to confess I was expecting and wanting chocolate when I felt the shape! But am certainly not complaining.

(And now for a cut as I’m verbose, it turns out.)

Eroticon 2012 – Part 1 – Bristol, Hotels, and Apprehension

I found out about Eroticon 2012 via twitter. Of course, really, where else does one get information from these days? 😉 Rudy Kiddell posted that she was going to run a sex bloggers and erotica writers conference in March 2012 in Bristol, and almost on a whim, I bought a ticket. Almost, because it was going to be on the same weekend as the Inter-Varsity Folk Dancing Festival, which I had gone to in 2011 and enjoyed. Ironically, that was held in Bristol where Eroticon took place. Ultimately I thought I’d choose the new over the familiar (though Aberdeen did sound like fun), and also it seemed a good place to go and see if this really was a world I was happy to be part of. Online interactions are one thing, but meeting people in real life, having face to face conversations, gives everything a weight that the every-changing internet lacks.
